Avengers: Doers Surprisingly Want to Add a New Hero to the MCU

Over the years, a lot of superheroes have accumulated in the MCU. Apparently, Marvel has no intentions to knock out new members. On the contrary, because now could soon land the next newcomer in Marvel-Unviersum. It is a very special candidate. A superhero, which probably only a few would have expected.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe has received some colorful members over the years. But behind the scenes, the studio has even more interesting characters in store. They are just waiting for their time to come. Many probably think of heroes like the X-Men and the Fantastic Four. The script writers of Avengers: Endgame have a different idea. In an interview, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely talked about it. Markus says, "What I really want to see is an MCU version of a lot of different things – how do you make a real movie about Machine Man, is that even possible?"
The two authors are not sure if Machine Man could really fit in the MCU. But they already have an interest in it. Machine Man is one of the lesser-known heroes of comics. It was created by Jack Kirby, who is also responsible for many other more well-known heroes. In the Marvel Universe, Machine Man was the only survivor of a number of military robots. He had to flee when his robot comrades went insane by experimenting.

You'd think it's not that hard to get Machine Man into the MCU. After all, his colleagues would already include a sentient tree and a talking raccoon. Machine Man is not very famous yet. But a supporting role or your own Disney Plus series are still conceivable. Either way, you should not write off the machine man for a long time.
