Star Wars 9: How the script landed on ebay

The Skywalker legend ends in December after 42 years in a grand finale. Of course, special care is taken to ensure that no information is leaked beforehand. Almost, however, it came to disaster. An actor forgot his script, which ended up on Ebay.
Just before Christmas, fans can finally see the eagerly awaited finale of a cinema era. Star Wars: The ascent of Skywalker not only completes the current trilogy, but also brings the story of Luke Sykwalker and his sister Leia Organa to an end. This began in 1977 with Star Wars. In December, actors Mark Hamill and the late Carrie Fisher will be seen for the last time in their iconic roles as Luke and Leia. Among the few characters from the original trilogy that will return is Emperor Palpatine. After weeks of speculating whether the villain could again play a major role, it has now been confirmed that Palpatine aka Darth Sidious has it on Rey and her friends.
Of course, in such a big and important project like the final of the Skywalker saga, Disney is meticulous about not letting any details leak. But that is not always so easy, because the smallest mistakes of the crew members can mean catastrophes. So a script recently landed on Ebay, as Star Wars 9 director J. J. Abrahms revealed in an interview. An actor forgot it under his bed, whereupon the cleaning lady found it. Then it was offered for sale on the Internet. Fortunately, a Disney employee saw the offer and steps were taken to get the script back. In another interview with actor John Boyega, he confessed that he forgot the script under his bed. He also swore it was an oversight.
In the end, everything went well, but the whole thing could have ended in disaster. From the 18th of December 2019 we will finally find out what happens in Star Wars: The Ascension of Skywalker. Then the film starts in German cinemas.
