Lord of the Rings Series: All Stars in the Cast

The new Lord of the Rings series from Amazon will go into production very soon. So far, the shipping giant has held back many concrete details of the fantasy adaptation. But now we finally know which stars will appear in the cast. We'll tell you which actor is there.
The fantasy series Lord of the Rings becomes a series on Amazon and it will not be long before the filming for the mega project starts. The casting did not always go smoothly, because Will Poulter, the meanwhile biggest star of the Tolkien adaptation, jumped off again. But now the main cast for season 1 is finally complete and production can move on to the next phase. The official Twitter page has now revealed which stars are on board. Accordingly, we can welcome 10 new candidates. For the series of makers John D-Payne and Patrick McKay, the following names were used:

    Tom Budge
    Ismael Cruz Cordova
    Owain Arthur
    Nazanin Boniadi
    Tyroe Muhafidin
    Sophia Nomvete
    Megan Richards
    Daniel Weyman
    Dylan Smith
    Charlie Vickers

The best known of the new faces is probably Ismael Cruz Cordova, who is known from the Star Wars series The Mandalorian and as Nazanin Boniadi from How I Met Your Mother. Also part of the cast for The Lord of the Rings are Robert Aramayo and Joseph Mawle, two stars from Game of Thrones, whose participation in the Amazon series had previously been confirmed. Aramayo embodied the young Ned Stark in the HBO hit and is a replacement for Will Poulter. Unfortunately, Poulter had to cancel due to overlapping appointments.
Morfydd Clark takes on the role of the young Galadriel. So far, Cate Blanchett has played the petite elf in Peter Jackson's famous film trilogy. Markella Kavenagh as Tyra and Ema Horvath will also be seen under the new Lord of the Rings banner in an as yet unexplained role.
The series is timed before the events of the film trilogy and The Hobbit. According to some fan rumors, the new story is set to take place in the Second or Third Age of Middle-earth. So far there are no concrete details. The launch of Lord of the Rings on Amazon is for 2021, an exact start date is not yet known.
