Venom 2 director promises worthy opponents

Lord of the Rings legend Andy Serkis will direct the sequel to the Marvel blockbuster Venom. In an interview he recently announced that filming is going well. In particular, we can apparently look forward to the relationship between the eponymous hero and his adversary. Here you can find out what Serkis reveals about Venom 2.
The work on Venom 2 is in full swing and bit by bit more and more details about the blockbuster are coming to light. It's all about journalist Eddie Brock, who captured the alien symbiote Venom in the first film. Brock is embodied again by Tom Hardy and faces a very special challenge in the sequel. Carnage, played by Woody Harrelson, becomes the new villain in Venom 2. Since the comics, the two aliens have been absolute arch enemies.
Director Andy Serkis now shared a little update to the sequel. Speaking to Digital Spy at the EE British Academy Film Awards, he says: "We've been filming for 40 days and it's really exciting. We have the great Tom Hardy who is obviously at the center. And of course there is an arch enemy. That's all I can say. "
Apparently an exciting rivalry between Tom Hardy as Venom and Woody Harrelson as Carnage awaits us. In the first film, many viewers particularly enjoyed the relationship between Eddie Brock and Venom. It is therefore no wonder that the makers of the sequel want to focus on it in particular. We will find out exactly how that will look in autumn. Then Venom 2 should be released on October 02, 2020. A German theatrical release shouldn't be far away. In our video player you can now find a Behind The Scenes video for Venom.
