In recent years, ex-wrestler Dwayne Johnson has made a name for himself in the film industry. As one of the trendiest stars, the star obviously has his hands full. There are so many future projects for the 47-year-old that you can quickly lose track. So that you keep the overview, we have summarized his upcoming films in a list. Here we introduce you to which films with The Rock await you next.
Netflix brings several Hollywood stars on board for the action comedy Red Notice. In addition to Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gador (Wonder Woman) and Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds will also appear. The film is about an exciting story, in which a worldwide sought-after art thief, a trickster and an FBI profiler are at the center. Red Notice comes with an impressive budget of $ 125 million, which of course makes sense given the star actors. Work on the film had to be interrupted earlier this year due to the current corona crisis. As things stand, Netflix users can expect a launch date sometime next year.
Black Adam is one of Johnson's most anticipated projects. The Rock will finally make its first appearance as a real superhero. Actually, Johnson should already be seen in Shazam as an opponent of the title-giving superhero. After the plans have been changed, Black Adam now gets a solo film all to himself instead. Filming on the blockbuster is scheduled to begin this summer. If the work progresses without any major problems, Black Adam will then be released in US cinemas on December 22, 2021. In the following list we show you all upcoming Dwayne Johnson films and their current release dates in a general overview. Below you will find the trailer for Jungle Cruise in our video player.
