Babylon Berlin Season 3: Date of the free TV premiere in the first


    With three episodes and accompanying documentation, the new season BABYLON BERLIN starts on Sunday, October 11, 2020, 8:15 p.m. in the first. Das Erste will air three more episodes on Wednesday, October 14 at 8:15 p.m. Two episodes can be seen on October 15, 21 and 22 at 8:15 p.m.

    The directors and authors Henk Handloegten, Achim von Borries and Tom Tykwer wrote and directed the twelve new episodes. The season is based on the Volker Kutscher novel "The Mute Death", the second case in the bestseller series by Commissioner Gereon Rath. Starring Volker Bruch as Gereon Rath and Liv Lisa Fries as Charlotte Ritter return to the screens. Alongside them are numerous actors, including Benno Fürmann, Lars Eidinger, Misel Maticevic, Hannah Herzsprung, Leonie Benesch, Christian Friedel, Thomas Thieme, Udo Samel, Fritzi Haberlandt, Karl Markovics, Jeanette Hain, Jördis Triebel and Godehard Giese. There are also some well-known newcomers to the cast: Ronald Zehrfeld, Meret Becker, Sabin Tambrea, Hanno Koffler, Martin Wuttke, Trystan Pütter, Peter Jordan, Caro Cult, Saskia Rosendahl and Bernhard Schütz.
